In Luna Strange, players take on the role of a wizard invited to a mysterious building to uncover the truth behind a friend’s sudden disappearance. The game’s visuals and mechanics are reminiscent of The Room series, as you gather items, solve puzzles, and gradually reveal the secrets hidden within.
Luna Strange follows a chapter-based narrative, consisting of four chapters in total. Currently, only the first chapter is available, with the rest to be released in future updates. Unlike The Room series, which is known for its intricate mechanisms, this game places magic at the core of its puzzles. By swiping two fingers across the screen, players can cast spells to activate mechanisms and alter puzzles.

Although Luna Strange may not match The Room series in terms of immersion, it stands out in its interactive design. Almost every cabinet in the game can be opened. While most of them serve only as distractions or “red herrings,” they help enhance the sense of realism and detail in the environment.
The game does not provide textual hints, but important mechanisms are sometimes highlighted. When encountering an object covered in a magical glow, try casting a spell on it—you may be surprised by the result. At present, there are some conflicts in gesture controls, as spell-casting gestures are occasionally misinterpreted as a back command. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in future updates.
