After the meeting, I found myself once again caught in that anger about being unable to change the situation and the exhaustion from endless work. Recently, there has been so much negativity that my mind is almost filled with unpleasant memories. But actually, just two days ago, I had a nice lunch with a friend, picked a piece of clothing I was happy with, and even managed to watch a movie to relax. Many times, we let our emotions take control, and before we know it, we magnify those negative feelings, forgetting that there are also many little joys in life worth remembering.

How We Feel encourages us to dive deeper into our emotions, identify the events behind them, and gradually learn to adjust and control our emotions. After downloading the app, you'll be guided through a clear interface, which is also beautifully designed. New users are advised to explore the features step by step. Once you understand the purpose of using the app, it will categorize your emotions into four quadrants: high-energy pleasant, high-energy unpleasant, low-energy pleasant, and low-energy unpleasant. You’ll then be able to explore more specific emotions within each quadrant.

What makes How We Feel special is this. Many emotional tracking apps just list a long list of emotions for us to choose from, but the classification and specific meaning of these emotions often rely on our own interpretation. Over time, we end up selecting only common emotions like "angry," "happy," or "sad," and more nuanced feelings like "proud," "surprised," "motivated," "loved," "supported," and "sense of belonging" often go unnoticed. How We Feel not only lists specific emotions but also provides simple explanations to help us better understand the meaning of each emotion, enabling us to express our feelings more accurately.

After recording specific emotions, we can also write down the events that led to these emotions, with support for text, voice, and image recordings. The app also prompts us to track our sleep, exercise, and weather conditions, helping us identify subtle influences these factors have on our emotions. As we continue to track, How We Feel generates detailed statistics and beautiful charts to help us gain a clearer understanding of our emotional changes.

Additionally, as you use the app over time, How We Feel will gradually unlock a series of courses, available in the toolbar for learning. These include self-affirmation, breathing exercises, and emotional basics, helping us find the adjustment methods that work best for us. The app also has a simple social feature, allowing users to choose to log in with a Google account to share their emotional experiences with friends. However, this feature is entirely optional, and users can decide whether or not to use the account.

How We Feel is currently completely free, and users can download it via Vipdown to start their journey of exploring their emotions.
